It's happening!!! <3

So...about Daytona...I'm moving! I have now not only applied and been accepted into Daytona State, but I've also filled out my first application for an apartment!(: I'm sooooo excited! I feel like things are finally working out for me and this will be a great experience for me. I haven't told everyone that I have made my decision but they will soon find out because the semester ends in less than two months and then Brittney and I start moving our stuff. I know a lot of people who are sad that I am moving but I feel like this is the next step for me. Meanwhile, I still have a lot to get done in the next two months. I have to get all of the paperwork filled out and turned in and I still need to go threw my stuff and get rid of lots of junk, plus I still have to keep my grades up in my classes and finish them...but i'm so excited that I don't care what all I have to get done...it's happening!!(:

I Can't help but be happy...and thankful...

Okay...so....I know that there is always negative stuff going on in my life ex. My mom and I fighting, my dad is still sick, etc...But I still can't help but be happy. I have so much in my life to be thankful for and I am reminded of it all more and more. I have the worlds best church family, some amazing best friends, and a God who would do anything for me. What more could a girl want?

Beth Moore Bible Study at Crossroads

Two weeks ago the women of Crossroads started a Beth Moore Bible Study called Believing God. So far I absolutely love it! This is the first bible study I've ever done and also the first adult women's group I've ever been in so it's all pretty exciting!(: It's hard to make time to do all of the homework for it but it's sp worth it all. I like it so much that i'm going to miss the Lady Antebellum concert on the 22nd so that I don't have to miss a meeting. I can't wait to see what God does in mine as well as the other ladies of the group's lives over the next few weeks.
 Addicted to sun dresses

I've become addicted to sun dresses....they are soooo cute and I kind of like dressing up!(: The one in this picture is my favorite one that I own. I am always on the look out for good deals on new dresses so if you have any ideas on where to get more just let me know!

Classes...

...are kicking my butt....This past week I not only got to watch no tv but I was up until atleast midnight every night doing homework. My math professor should not be teaching math because he has no idea how to teach.. He writes a problem on the board only putting down the steps that he, a math professor, needs to do the problem. This leaves all of us students wondering how he got from one step to another because he skips like 3 steps in a row. So somehow in my busy schedule I will have to fit in a math tutor session, thankfully I know someone who will know just how to teach it to me! As for my comp class I made a 9 out of 10 on a paper.(: This is great news because I was kind of nervous about it. I'm praying that I do just as good on my future papers. The other two classes are keeping me busy but they aren't that bad, thankfully.

I've been busy <3

I spent the rest of July at my dads in Missouri. I've never been this close to my family and it has NEVER been this hard for me to leave. The last few days I was there we went back to the lake with more of our family and I got to see my cousins and meet some that i've only ever seen pictures of. Papaw got us a tube and we got to go tubing. Getting home from our little trip I had only a few hours to finish packing (I really had only packed a few things in hope that it would make the time last a little longer.)

Tears, Kisses, and one long trip home

Spending two months with my family made it really hard to leave. I got threw my goodbye's with my dad, my brothers, and Lacey. Then Kelly, Natasha, and baby Aydon took me to the Airport. Standing at the end of the security line I said my goodbye's to Kelly first then Natasha, but when I looked at Aydon I lost it. I BAWLED my eyes out while I gave him a hug and told him that I love him. He gave me two kisses said "too" then I turned and walked up to go threw security. As I got up there my sister called my name and when I turned around Aydon blew me a kiss and waved at me and I lost it again. We had taken so long saying our goodbyes that I had to run to my gate so when I got there and finally sat down on the plane it took all I had not to cry again. I never thought it would be that hard to say goodbye to them. The whole trip home I was thinking about how excited I was to see everyone but how sad I was that my visit was over. With the big change happening in December i'm not sure when I will have the chance to visit again but i'm praying that another visit is in my near future!

Back to Family and Crossroads
When I got off of the plane Mom and Emily were waiting for me. We hugged, grabbed my bags, and then headed off to Busch Gardens. That's right, after the lake for a few days, and then a late night packing session, and a plane ride...I went to busch Gardens! Then the next morning we got up and the three of us, my Aunt, and my cousins all went to the beach. After having been in the sun for four days in a row I finally got my tan back!!(: When I got home from the beach I got ready and then headed to Erin's house. I was so excited to see her after two months of being away so I couldn't get over there fast enough! I must've hugged her a hundred times that night. Sleeping that night wasn't hard at all, I had been so worn out from the days before that by the time I layed down I passed out. Sunday morning I woke up SUPER excited. I'm a LITTLE attached to my church family so being away from them for two months wasn't easy at all. When I saw my best friend Ali I gave her a long and big hug...I misssed everyone but I think I missed her the most! I'm thankful that everyone at Crossroads love hugs because I kept going around collecting hugs to make up for the two months i've been gone. Moving away from them will NOT be easy.

College Time

My classes have now started back and I can already tell that this will be another stressful semester. I'm taking two sciences, a math, and a comp class so I will have my work cut out for me but I just have to remember that it will all be worth it in the end. On a positive note I have my best friend Leah in three out of four of my classes so I already have a study buddy! My goal is to make A's in my scince classes and atleast a B in my math and in my comp class. Now I just have to stay focused on school, which will be a great way for me to save money!(:

Update(:
I went camping for a few days with my family on Kelly's side, my step mom. We had so much fun and it was actually kind of nice to get away from having cell service for awhile!(:
Then I FINALLY got my learners permit! I am actually doing really good for having never driven before. I just have to work on coming to a complete stop at stop signs, using my turn signal everytime I turn, and parallel parking...YUCK! But i'm hoping to be able to get my license before I head back to Florida.

I have been spending all of my time with my family here in Missouri. I get to spend  A LOT of time with my baby brother Aydon so it's going to be really hard on me when I have to go back to Florida in 3 weeks because i've grown to be super attached to him. As much as I miss all of my friends and my church family back home it's going to be hard to return. I didn't realize how much I missed everyone here until I got here...

I'm still single but it seems like all of my guy friends want to take me out when I get back in town. I don't know how I feel about this...I'm not sure that any of them, that live in Florida, are what i'm looking for. There is one guy that i've been talking to a lot this summer however there is a big mess attached to even thinking about dating him...Also I have to keep in mind that in 5 months I am moving to Daytona so I will be hours away from most of them and the other ones are in the military so I will be more than hours away from them.

I'm so excited about Daytona! The closer it gets the more excited I get because I am so ready to get away from my mom and just be out of there. I am going to miss my Crossroads family and my besties so very much but I think that moving out with Brittney is what's best for me! When I talk about it with anyone they try to talk me out of it. The only two people who are not trying to talk me out of it are Brittney, because she knows that I need this as much as she does, and Mom, because she has been waiting for me to move out since the day I turned 18. My mom loves it when i'm not home so she is going to do anything in her power to make sure that I get moved out in December. For now I am working on saving up as much money as I can save and not shopping for new clothes...Lol. But it will all be worth it when I get the keys to that apartment!(:

Time to catch you up on my weekend <3

Well....I'm still in shock over all that has changed since I was last here! For instance Lacey, my (7months) older sister, and I actually get along now. We use to fight super bad but this trip we haven't even gotten frustrated with eachother yet. I stayed with her at her friends house saturday night and then we got up on sunday morning and came back to the house to get cars packed up. Then we all, as a family, went out on a family vacation. It was Lacey, Brett, Natasha, Dale (Natasha's Boyfriend), Derek, Aydon, Kelly, Dad, and then of course me. It's an on-going joke that we need to adopt a couple more kids so that we can get a group price at places to save money...Lol. Anyways...We went for a mini-vacation to Branson, Mo to go to Silver Dollar City and White Water. The trip was great accept for the fact that Natasha never makes it threw a trip without getting hurt...Lol.  We went on one of the water rides at Silver Dollar City so her sneakers were drenched. So she did what anyone else would do and bought a pair of flip flops so she wouldn't have to wear the wet shoes. Well that was mistake #1 for her. then we went on a ride where you were squirting people on the walkways with water and they were getting you back. After that ride we had to go down stairs to get back to the main area. Mistake #2 for her was carrying Aydon, our 17month old brother. She was walking down the stairs carrying him on her left side, Mistake #3, when her flip flop broke on the 2nd step. She fell all the way down the rest of that part of the steps. She was so busy trying to make sure Aydon didn't get hurt, which he didn't, that she got super brused up on her right side and we were afraid that she had broken something because she was crying if you even tried to touch her right arm. Luckily nothing was broken. She is just so brused up from it that it looks like someone used her as a punching bag...LOL.
This was a great first vacation with Aydon. He had so much fun that he slept most of the car ride home because it wore him out.

Two flights, a long day, and a big difference

Okay so after barely sleeping last night I got up, finished packing and then we headed for the airport. After saying goodbye to my mom and sister my brother and I borded our first flight. During this flight I started to feel light headed and just icky. I figured it was my blood suger so when that flight landed we went and got lunch since we had a little time before the other flight. Eating didn't help at all. I felt just as bad on the second flight only I was drained of energy as well. When we finally got to St.Louis I was shocked to find that my dad was there with Kelly and Natasha to pick us up. After we left the airport we all went and got lunch (Lacey and Aydon were also with us). Then dad and Brett headed home and us girls ended up going to a few stores for some shopping. I could already tell after spending a few hours with them that things had really changed since the last time I was here. I guess I will see just how much over the next few days...I already miss everyone back home. I'm not sure what to think of how things are here yet...i'm praying this visit is good...<3

Taking a chance and praying <3

So in about 12 hours I will be getting on a plane to go to my dads in Missouri. It has been so long since I went for more than a couple days so you can imagaine how nervous I am about going for two months. I want this to go good so bad. I love my family to death and can't wait to get off the plane and give my sister a big hug. I haven't seen any of them in a year! My baby brother, Aydon, is 1 year old and running everywhere so that will be interesting. I'm always around a lot of kids, whom I love so very much, but i've missed out on a lot for him which makes me sad.

Not Saying Goodbye...It's see you later!

So the last few days i've had to say 'See you later' to my family here in Florida which is never easy. This time it was even harder. Since i've started attending Crossroads a few years back i've never gone away for more than a couple weeks...so two months without seeing my church family is going to be super hard! I spent most of my last week with my very favorite person, Erin! I enjoyed watching movies with her and not* talking about how I was going to be leaving in a few days for two months. When tuesday came and it was time for me to come home we avoided it as long as we could. We went to lunch at Olive Garden then we walked around Lighthouse book store for awhile. Afte that we got Ice cream at DQ and then we went and looked at couches. To make everything a little harder...I have a little best friend named Ali. She is one of the kids at church and one of the sweetest little girls i've ever met. Yesterday she hugged me for so long as she was crying. She didn't want me to leave...Then her mom let me know when they got home that she cried the whole way home...This broke my heart! I'm going to miss her big long hugs this summer but I look forward to the hug I will get from her when I get home. I know it will be super big!!(: I love her!

Guess I should try to get some rest. I have to be up in 6 hours and then after I get to Missouri my sister Natasha says that we might be going shopping...Just what I need...more clothes...LOL.
